Revelation from Heaven

On February 20th 2007 I received a vision during a prayer time that has become the fuel for my mission. It was a word from the Father about His heart for the church. It was also an urgent call for His children to get equipped by “catching” the falling Word, the Rhema Word of the Lord. I’d like to share some of it with you.

“I was looking into a blue, black sky and saw thousands upon thousands of swords falling from heaven.  They were covering the sky, it’s like it was raining swords.  It was very frightening because they were huge swords and they were falling very fast pointy end first.  I remember thinking, “This will kill a person if it hits them.  I hope no body is out here.”  But I could see no one.

But then I reached out and grabbed a sword by the base as it fell past me.  I snatched it out of the air and spun it about as if I have been made for this sword and I knew how to wield it.  

Then suddenly I saw a line of outstretched arms, reaching up to heaven.  And as each of these arms reached out to heaven, it was as if the swords falling were drawn magnetically to their hands.  Eventhough the swords were falling point down, these arms were receiving the swords point up.  Then, it’s as if their catching of the swords changed the raining; all the swords began to change position as they fell, and were now falling handle down.

 Then I was pulled back and saw a great line of warriors standing with their swords in formation.  Then they moved their hands to directly out in front of themselves, as if to charge an enemy.But to my surprise the whole line of soldiers knelt down and spread their swords out on the ground to make an iron road.

As they did this a charging Calvary of horsemen decked out in full garments of war road past.  It reminded me a Tolstoy’s War and Peace when the emperor would come to inspect the armies, and all the various rank and file warriors would gather and present themselves for inspection.  The Calvary was very powerful and carried an imperial weight.  I could tell that these were the key leaders, and powerful warriors.

Right behind the great Calvary was a very different kind of warrior marching at the same tempo.  This was a company of warriors totally covered in silver amour, head to toe, and they were all carrying massive jousting lances.  They were a sight because, though all the others had armor, these were the only ones where no flesh was visible.

As these 2 company’s road past, the company of warriors that had just received their swords fell in behind them in great numbers and were rejoicing, as if to say they had been waiting for this to happen for a long time.  

This vision has emerged in my spirit over the past few years as a clarion call to me and to the Body. We must learn how to go to war with falling Word of God. Gone are the days when we armed for battle with swords gathered from a storehouse.

Gone are the days when prepackaged sermons dusted off from the storehouse of Academia will empower the new generation of warriors. If we are to pave the iron highway for God’s Royal government to move again on the earth, we must all learn how to receive revelation from heaven. Schindler Ministries exists to impart a spirit of revelation and wisdom to a generation hungry for heaven to come to earth. Like the Apostle Peter before us, we can all hear these words from Jesus, “Blessed are you Simon-bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you but my Father who is in heaven.”
